I joined Berkeley in January 2012 after a short post-doc at the Wharton Statistics Department, University of Pennsylvania. I finished my PhD in statistics from Yale University in June, 2011. My dissertation advisor was Professor David Pollard. I joined Yale in August 2006 after completing the B.Stat and M.Stat degrees from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.

My research interests include nonparametric and high-dimensional statistics, shape constrained statistical estimation, Bayesian and Empirical Bayes methods. Here is a list of my publications.

STUDENTS: Here is a list of the students that I am currently supervising. In addition to these students, I have worked in the past with other students in Statistics and EECS on research projects. If you are student in the Berkeley Statistics PhD program (or other Berkeley programs such as EECS) looking for research projects, feel free to send me an email at aditya@stat.berkeley.edu.

I (very occasionally) blog about some topics in statistics that interest me. See here for the blog.
