As a student in this course, you should have been provided with an account on the SCF (Statistical Computing Facility) computers. Please follow the instructions on the account sheet which you received. The SCF is a network of computers, maintained by the Statistics department, to serve the needs of Statistics department faculty, staff and students.
Your main point of access for the SCF computers is the computer lab located in Room 342 of Evans Hall. I will be available in this room after class each day -- if you arrive at the room, and the door is locked, please wait for me, or ask someone in the Statistics office (Evans 367) to unlock the door. If you'd like access to this room at other times of the day on Monday through Friday, please let me know, and I'll try to arrange it. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to access this room on weekends.
