This can be a pain in the ass, but sometimes invoking metamail manually
works when exmh (or some other mail client) can't seem to deal with
an attached file. (You might also try munpack, though I haven't
used it myself). Try the following:
- put content of attachment in a file; have the file start with the
weird garbage line followed by the ``Content-`` lines and then
the content and concluding with the final weird garbage line; here's
an example file:
