My research in mathematical statistics develops rigorous foundations for problems at the intersection of statistics and geometry. Some specific topics I'm interested in include:
- Statistical inference for Fréchet means, and related theoretical and applied problems in non-Euclidean statistics
- Optimal transport, and various aspects of stochastic and infinite-dimensional optimization
- Clustering, and other topics in machine learning.
