Statistics in Genetics

Terry Speed

(Back to list of Terry's classes)

Time:  TT: 12.30-2.00
Place:  334 Evans Hall

The course will be a survey of applications of probability and statistics to modern genetics and molecular biology. No previous acquaintance with these areas is required, but a willingness to do collateral reading in the field will be assumed.

Please check with me beforehand if you want to come to a specific class, as there may be variations from this schedule. I will be forced to miss 3 classes, and these will be taken by the people named below. I hope we can get notes Jan 20 Mendel and segregation. Jan 22
