My current position is a postdoc in the Department of Statistics and I am a member of Rasmus Nielsen's lab. From 2008-2009, I was a VIGRE Visiting Assistant Professor and now I am funded by a NSF minority postdoctoral fellowship. My Ph.D work in Population Genetics was supervised by Rick Durrett and Carlos Bustamante in the Center for Applied Mathematics, at Cornell University. Here is a copy of my CV.

My current research interests involve detecting and characterizing natural selection in human populations, estimating human demographic histories and improving methods for the analysis of next generation sequencing data. For more details and a list of publications, please see my research section.
