Research Interests:

I am a Post Doctoral Scholar in the Department of Statistics at University of California, Berkeley.

My supervisors are Terry Speed and Sandrine Dudoit.

My research interests include the development and application of statistical methods and software to high-throughput genomic data (such as microarrays, next-generation sequencing, ...)

At the moment I am focusing on the analysis of RNA-Seq data.

Biography:

I received my Ph.D. in Statistics in 2012 from University of Padua in Italy under the supervision of Monica Chiogna (co-supervised by Sandrine Dudoit and Chiara Romualdi). I graduated in February 2012 with the Thesis “Simultaneous Inference for RNA-Seq data”.

I was a Visiting Student Researcher in the Division of Biostatistics at the University of California, Berkeley from Fall 2010 to Spring 2011.
