Random Process Data Analysis: Concepts and Examples (4)

Classes: MWF 1300-1400 in 1011 Evans

Lab Section: Th 1200-1400 in 332 Evans

Statistical methods for the analysis of time series and other random process data. Meant for graduate students in Statistics and other Departments. Time series ideas will form the spine of the course, but simultaneously point processes, images and other contemporary data types will be considered.

Prerequisites:Elementary knowledge of Fourier transforms and basic statistics.

Grading:The course grade will come from - the two reports, (each counting 1/3), the homeworks and the proposal material (together making up the remaining 1/3).
