Explanation of controls

A few of the button labels might be unfamiliar. The button labeled "U[0,1]" returns a (pseudo)random number uniformly distributed between zero and one. The button labeled "N(0,1)" returns a (pseudo)random number drawn according to the standard normal distribution, which has mean zero and standard deviation one.
