Berkeley Probability Seminar

The Statistics Department of Berkeley holds the Probability Seminar every Wednesday. In Spring 2007 I was the co-organizer of this seminar along with Sourav Chatterjee and Asaf Nachmias. Please see below for a listing of the talks as well as links to the Probability Seminar for Fall 2007.

Student Seminar

In addition to the various seminars in the department, the students of the statistics department also organize a student seminar. The essential aim of this seminar is to give students a chance to give talks and inform their peers of the research that they are currently involved in. It also gives an opportunity to students to practice talks before conferences, job talks talks before their qualifying exams and so on. The seminar is generously funded by the Graduate Assembly and the Statistics department. From the Fall 2005 to Spring 2007, I have helped organize the Student Seminar along with Sebastien Roch, Guilhremhe Rocha, Brad Luen, Chris Haulk and Richard Liang. For the Fall 2007 please send me an email if you would like to give a talk.
