I will hold office hours next week 3-5 Monday and Wednesday.

I have decided to only count the best 10 of 12 homeworks for final grades

I will not hold office hours on Monday, November 10.  But I will have office hours on Wednesday, November 12, from 2-4pm

I will not hold office hours on Monday, October 20.

The midterm will be held in Haas 295, 2-3:30 on Tuesday, September 30.  It is closed book and closed notes.  You will not need a blue book or a scantron form.   You will need pencils and your own calculator.  Calculators cannot be shared.

Sections will not meet on Tuesday of the first week, but will meet on Thursday.   It is important that you go on Thursday to help us get the enrollments straightened out and to insure yourself a place in the class.

Go to the section in which you are officially enrolled or on the waiting list. We will take attendance in section for the first three weeks after which time every enrolled student who attends regularly will be in as will as many of the waitlisted students as possible. 

If you are not officially enrolled or on a waiting list, find a section which looks like it has room, tell the GSI you are trying to get in, and attend for the first three weeks. 

Enrollment is limited by the seating capacity of the lecture hall. Professor Adhikari teaches another lecture of Statistics 2, Tues-Thurs 9:30-11:00 in 7 Pimentel. See the announcement on section meetings, above.
