INTERDISCIPLINARY STOCHASTIC PROCESSES COLLOQUIUM Tuesday February 18, room 60 Evans, 4.10 - 5.00pm Speaker: George Papanicolaou (Mathematics, Stanford University) Title: Mathematical problems in array imaging Abstract: I will give a mathematical introduction to array imaging in the remote sensing regime where the effect of random inhomogeneities in the ambient medium must be taken into consideration. I will also discuss several mathematical problems in stochastic analysis that come up in this study.
