pradeepr.jpg Pradeep Ravikumar 2009 Pradeep was a postdocotral scholoar. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Sciences at University of Texas, Austin.
vu.jpg Vince Vu 2009 Vince completed his Ph.D. with the dissertation "High Dimensional Data Analysis: Entropy and Regression." He is currently a NSF Post Doc at Carnegie Mellon University.
Ethan Anderes 2008 Ethan was a NSF postdoctoral fellow. He graduated from The University of Chicago.
Kei Kobayashi 2008 Kei was a visiting postdoctoral scholar from Japan. He graduated from the University of Tokyo and was previously at the Institute of Statistical Mathematics in Tokyo, Japan.
rocha.jpg Guillherme Rocha 2008 Guillherme completed his Ph.D with the dissertation "Sparsity and model selection through convex penalties: Structured selection, covariance selection and some theory." He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Statistics, Indiana University, Bloomington.
nicolai.jpg Nicolai Meinshausen 2007 Nicolai was a visiting postdoctoral scholar from 2006-07. He is currently a University Lecturer and fellow of Somerville College, Oxford.
xing.jpg Xing Wang 2007 Xing was a visiting scholar from Renmin University of China, from 2006 through January 2007.
Peng Zhao 2006 Peng completed his Ph.D. with the dissertation "Regularization - Sparsity, Structure and Computation." He is currently a Quantitative Researcher at Citadel Investment Group in Chicago, IL.
Tao Shi 2005 Tao completed his Ph.D. with the dissertation "Polar Cloud Detection using Satellite Data with Analysis and Application of Kernal Learning Algorithms." He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Ohio State University.
Gang Liang 2004 Gang completed his Ph.D. with the dissertation "Statistical Inference in Network Tomography". He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California at Irvine.
Rebecka Jornsten 2000 Rebecka completed her Ph.D. with the dissertation "Data Compression and Its Statistical Implications with an Application to the Analysis of Microarray Images". She is currently an Assistant Professor at Rutgers University.
