NOTICE REGARDING Stat 200A-B and Stat 201A-B

BACKGROUND & NEW FORMAT
The Statistics Department is in the process of reviewing our MA curriculum, which includes updating our MA courses and making some schedule changes to Stat 200AB in the 2012-13 academic year. We created an updated version of Stat 200A and 200B under the NEW course numbers Stat 201A and 201B.

Stat 201A and 201B will each be 7 weeks and will be taught in ONE semester, beginning Fall 2012. Stat 201A will be taught in the first half of the fall semester and Stat 201B in the second half of the fall semester. Each course will require 6 hours of lecture and 3 hours of discussion section. Neither course will be taught in Spring 2013. Students will be able to sign up for one or both courses. Stat 200A and 200B will not be taught during the 2012-2013 academic year.
