Vertical Integration of Research and Education (VIGRE)
Travel Award
In 2002 the National Science Foundation awarded the Department of Statistics a VIGRE grant. VIGRE supports:
- postdoctoral associate positions with enhanced opportunities for research
- graduate research traineeships
- research experiences for undergraduates
The program is designed to promote vertical integration of research and education. A feature of the VIGRE graduate traineeship program is to provide travel funds for VIGRE graduate students to attend professional meetings that are relevant to their areas of research. If you are a Statistics PhD student who has been awarded a VIGRE fellowship, you can request travel funds by completing the application process.
